Ted Vinzani Speaker at Wisconsin Business Owners February 26th

Ted Vinzani is February 26 Speaker

Join us February 26, 2010 and RSVP at Meetup.com/Wisconsin-Business-Owners

You Only Have 7 Seconds

• Do you ever feel like your prospects don’t understand your message?

• Do you get the feeling no one reads your brochures?

• Do prospects fail to return your voice mails?

• Do fewer and fewer people respond to your ads and website?

You only have 7 seconds at best to capture a prospect’s interest in this world where everyone is shouting at them, trying to sell them something.  Relevance Marketing is the best way to ensure your potential clients will “hear” what you’re saying.

32-year sales and marketing pro, Ted Vinzani, has spent his career finding different ways to sell both new and existing products to prospects.

In 1993, completely exasperated with the sales materials and support from his company’s marketing department, Ted decided he’d figure out a better way to put forth his message.  In 2002, Ted hung out his shingle as a marketing consultant.  He’s worked on major projects in the health, marketing communications, and grocery industries, as well as other smaller projects.  Ted’s primary specialty is Relevance Marketing.

The goal of Relevance Marketing is to cause prospects to identify with and see themselves succeeding in your marketing message, whether it be your brochure or website, your ads, or how you send emails and make sales phone calls.

This will mostly be an audience participation event.  We’ll look at brochures from the attendees to see how you might recreate them to cause your prospects to really want to read them.

Bring 7 to 10 copies of one brochure to pass around and we’ll look at as many as we can in the time allowed.

The goal is to cause your prospects to say, “Wow! This brochure is all about me!”

That is, they know you’re talking about their problems and how they’d like to succeed, so reading it is what they want to do.

Ted Vinzani is owner of  www.RelevanceSells.com – The website for Accelerated Sales and Marketing

Making It in Milwaukee — and Out WisOwners.com May 30, 2008 Topic

Join Wisconsin Business Owners Network Group at the Best Western Midway at Maxwell’s Noon on Friday May 30, 2008.

A unique Milwaukee citizen, Richard Thieme is a noted business consultant, author, media commentator and speaker. His topic is Making It In Milwaukee – And Out.

Study after study details the deficits of our beloved home town. We are in the last quadrant of almost every measure of success and viability.

Yet on we go – sort of.

A prominent business leader said to Richard Longworth at a meeting of the GMC the other day when Longworth spoke about the Midwest and its problem — “My friends are making more money than ever. What’s the problem?”

Well, there are problems, there are deficits in leadership, cultural bias, economic disadvantages but … still, a lot of us stay.

What are the keys to success in Milwaukee? What are the options? What can we control and what can’t we control?

Richard Thieme has been speaking and writing for fourteen years with Milwaukee as a base. He has spoken recently in Sydney and Brisbane, Auckland and Wellington NZ, Tel Aviv, Dublin and the Hague — and his Islands in the Clickstream column was sent to readers in more than sixty countries.

During our brief time together, Richard will note some challenges and opportunities, respond to your concerns, and make our lunch together a happy occasion.
