Meetup Description: There may be something in the Stimulus Package for us!
For example, I understand the Small Business Administration is guaranteeing up to 85% of bank financing, and waiving fees! I want to learn more!
Our guest speaker, Linda Krysiak, Business Development Specialist from the Wisconsin District Office of the U.S. Small Business Administration will give us details of SBA financial programs, and an overview of how to win contracts in government procurement programs.
The SBA provides a number of financial assistance programs for small businesses including 7(a), 504 and disaster assistance loans. Learn about eligibility requirements, SBA’s loan programs, surety bonds and the role of SBA, equity capital topics, special purpose loans, SBA partner topics and 7(a) lender programs.
Here are some examples of talking points on Veteran-owned businesses (SBA financing for all business will be covered):
• The new Patriot Express Loan will be offered by SBA’s network of participating lenders nationwide and features SBA’s fastest turnaround time for loan approvals.
• Loans are available up to $500,000 and qualify for SBA’s maximum guaranty of up to 85 percent for loans of $150,000 or less, and up to 75 percent for loans over $150,000 up to $500,000.
• The Patriot Express Loan can be used for most business purposes, including start-up, expansion, equipment purchases, working capital, inventory or business-occupied real-estate purchases.
• Patriot Express Loans feature SBA’s lowest interest rates for business loans, generally 2.25 percent to 4.75 percent over the prime rate depending on the size and maturity of the loan.
Learn how the SBA can be a conduit for your business growth.
More details on our speaker and the program will be provided here in the next few days.
Registration begins at 9:45, presentation runs from 10 to 11 am.
